i'm going for sky blue banded steelies mate, there are getting painted by a mate at his bodyshop. i wont be going crazy with lows on this as they are speed bumps to get into my works carpark as i'm going down to 16inch wheels for winter instead of running on 17inch wheels as standard. the rotiforms nue wheels will be in 17inch & painted either candy blue or takata green for the hellaflush look. will post up some pics when parts arrive next week.

| just a little update, this week i start to modify the ibiza as it is my pay day on wednesday so i'm going to get my coilovers & drop links on wednesday they have also come down in price which is good so i can spend more money on other things. also i need to order another set of 16inch steelies to be banded as i sold mine yesterday to go on my mates mk4 golf for winter.
hopefully going to have coilovers fitted next week on my only day off from work, so watch this space for more updates.

cheers mate for the advice, next week i'm on the hunt for tyres for banded steelies have had a look on tyrestretch website to give me an idea. i asked my mate to see if he will do them but he never done them before so i will check out that tyre shop on ecclesfield road next week. have manage to get coilovers & drop links all under £300 now so have got a good deal on them where i'm ordering them from so they should be here on thursday & next week i should have lows on the ibiza.

| 195-45 for the back and the front, I did my own tyres, put the tyre on and fill it full of air and bobs your uncle
Don't know why some tyre places say no as its not hard to do and there's no special way, all I have to do is take them to a tyre place to get the balanceing sorted

| just a quick update, i'm going to leave the ibiza standard until after new year as my insurance is due in january so i will start modifying the car in january but between now & then i will be ordering all the parts to fit in the new year like coilovers & drop links, banded steelies getting made up, tyres, stickers, windeflectors. roof & mirrors will be painted in january by my local bodyshop i'm on the hunt to look for a set of rota grids drifts in 17inch 5x100pcd fitment for ultimate dubs next year if not it will be rotiforms nue wheels instead. | |

| I bin looking for a while and can only find the 17" as a 9j. Like you said 8j would be miles better! Normal rota grid would fit no probs | |

wondering if it worth ringing up rarerims up to see if they can get a set in 17" 8j or 8.5j in the rota grids drift in 5x100. normal grids will fit but i want the drifts for the concave look of the wheels. colour wise wouldnt bother me as i'm painting them candy blue or takata green for hellafush/j-euro look.

no mate havent got any new pics of the car as it still looks the same from the pics i took back in september except it needs cleaning from all the motorway miles i do everyday. have got some parts coming next week for car that i've ordered for my birthday off ebay they are team heko wind deflectors & loads of stickers also going to get my coilovers & drop links on order next week as well. need to book car into bodyshop for roof & wing mirrors painted gloss black in january, then it will be ready for lows fitted after paint work is done.
