| nothing to update on the ibiza as in two minds of which wheels to choose. just bought the latest issue of performance vw & rotiforms wheels are on offer from venom motorsport which is good. so its a choice of rotiforms nue or rota grids drifts wheels both in 17". | |

| just a quick update have finally settled on what wheels i'm getting for the ibiza will be rotiforms nue in 17" as they fit the car perfect as i will be the 1st mk5 ibiza to run them. colour wise will be either candy blue or takata green also still going to have banded steelies made up as i will be running theses in january. headlights will be tinted yellow instead of black for usdm/hellaflush/j-euro look & might splash out on some better coilovers now instead of budget JOM ones now but it depends on funds. car is booked into bodyshop for middle of january for roof & mirrors painted gloss black & standard 17" wheels to be painted gloss black as well. also looking into buying a spare bonnet to rust as for like a nu-rat look style until ultimate dubs. | |

cheers mate, the nu-rat look will be just for winter mode as for the rest got a busy few months before ultimate dubs to get the car ready for march. also got to have an custom exhaust made up by exhaustsuk in sheffield & roof rack ordered from seat, i wont be doing anything to interior as i dont want to change it at all as the ibiza will be gone by september 2014 ready for the mk7 golf i'm getting then. rotiforms will be the best set of wheels i've ever bought so it should look great in what colour i paint them in.

i've been wanting to go for last few years but i keep forgetting to book it of from work but i've put it in for next year so i should be getting it off. not much happening on the car due to buying xmas presents & paying for monaco grand prix for may next year. plan was to have the car ready for ultimate dubs in march but that looking like its not going to happen but i'll try & just see the show instead. parts will be coming from thursday as it my birthday on thursday so team heko wind deflectors, stickers & otherthings will be here. coilovers coming beginning of next month may also try & buy rotiforms cause they on offer at the moment depends on pay day.

I know its your car, but why are you sticker bombing it??? cheers mate, yeah it was a good birthday i went out for a meal with my family & friends last night also had a few beers to celebrate me being 23. have been thinking about the sticker bombing but it will look odd on a white car that going to have candy blue wheels & a black roof so i've decided not to do it until next winter when on banded steelies for winter mode. also got talking to my dad about the new mk7 golf last night & after new year we might go & have a look at one & maybe a test drive aswell.

| not been on here for ages so i better update this thread. things have been quite on the car over xmas & new year, just renewed my insurance on the ibiza, but no mods wont be coming due to now in saving mode for a new mk7 golf to buy later on in the year. have decided not to modify the ibiza as i want a mk7 golf, been talking to my dad about it over xmas & new year & have made a decision to get a golf instead of modifying the ibiza. the ibiza has been a good car from start of ownership which was nearly 2yrs ago but it is time for a change & the golf will be my last car for about 5yrs or more due to house & career change in the next few years. i will still be on the forum only thing it will be a standard car for a very long time.

| not much to update on here, going to test drive a mk7 golf next week as my dad is also interested in the mk7 golf aswell so will be trying to get a deal done in the next few weeks. have narrowed the colour choice down to 4 different colours are either red, white, blue, or silver, red is free white is £200 & blue & silver are £495 cause they are metalic colours. wont be doing this year show season at all due to golf will remain standard for a long time, might just go for a few factory optional extras to make oem+ but it will depends on funds. | |

plan was from when i bought the car was completely different to the plan i had until the end of last year, i change my mind that many times i dont know which way to choose but at the end of the day there is 9 pages on here & i've done nothing about putting mods on my ibiza like i said i was going to do them. things have changed over xmas & new year, the golf will be bought soon so i can own my last car for the long term as i'm changing my career next year & saving up for a house. so sorry if i've wasted 9 pages on a thread that has gone knowhere.
