Ibiza.

Hello Chaps!

This is my 2008 Seat Ibiza FR 1.9 TDi 8v PD130.

Bought the car in 2010, with 24k miles on the clock. Came standard at 130bhp supposedly, but the previous owner kindly popped a Golf 1.9 TDi 150bhp map on. That was sharply removed with a PDT map, and a green cotton panel filter shoving it up to 183.5bhp with 306ftlb torque.

After almost shredding my clutch i had the map decreased to about 170bhp with 285ftlb.. Installed a aftermarket headunit.. Alpine ida x100 and a Pioneer sub.

Got sick of mellow yellow headlights, and went for some 6k HIDs, and some LED sidelights. Well saying that was about 8 pairs of side lights before i found a pair which didn't explode in a week.

Didn't touch the car mods wise for about a year.

Then installed a PD160 air intake, and then that opened a window of pain for my inter-cooler, because the bloody pipe would not stay on..

Recently had enough! So went for a Seat Sport FMIC and hard pipe kit from Darkside. That buggers not coming off!

I guess that's how it sits at the moment.. apart from having my winter wheels on



When i can be arsed, i throw a layer of dodo juice hard wax on giving me this..


Low and slow.. Have i got the wrong idea?

Front wishbones have been poly bushed, front and back. Its sat on FR suspension so don't see the point in lowering at the min

Nice power.... Up rated clutch and up the power?


I love to put one of these engines in my car

Need a uprated clutch & flywheel kit, a de-cat too.
Then its back to PDT for a stage 2 map.

I don't wanna part with my money yet haha, my gear shifting issue has resolved itself.

looks really clean, like the performance mods !

So.. After yesterday I think I am getting a rather long shopping list.

First up would be the clutch, keeps slipping now and then. Plus i have ALOT of flywheel wobble.

Opinions?

Cosmetic mods:
Paint the the seat badges matt black, wrap the mirrors in carbon fibre (because am cheap), have paint corrected as I told Deano yesterday about my G3 incident it went wrong. Tint headlights slightly, Maybe.. rear window tints.. and some 3200k hid's

Other:
Polybush rears and ARB, either get wheels straightened or buy some new ones.
erm.. and a wash mitt..
