Ibiza 6k GTi Cupra Sport(AGG 8v)

Well this is my Ibiza GTi as i bought her a month ago.




As you see virtually standard part from a drilled airbox and some unbranded 15inch multispoke wheels in desperate need of a refurb.
How the wheels were when a got it.

Prep for refurb

End result after 1 tin of pound-land primer and 5 tins of pound-land high gloss black paint lol.

and this was the first day after a got it

Since then a have fitted 5 LED 6k sidelight bulbs along with a set of 50w 6k H1 Hids.

Plans for Future

*lowered on FK AK Street Coilovers on multispokes for winter
*Pipercross Induction Kit
*New number plates as current ones have seen better days
*Full Powerflow exhaust with twin backbox cut into the rear splitter with de-cat
*Save up for new wheels for summer(undecided on make will be 15s min 16s max suggestions helpful)

Engine Conversion might be on the cards considering ABF or 20vt out of a mk3 Ibiza Cupra.

Comments and suggestions welcome as a need some ideas

looked nice at the meet m8 get it slammed and i think some alloys with dish and wide would look mint

Thanks for the comments and yep coilovers will be top of the list after a get it taxed and serviced next month needs it because it rolls too much for my taste n multi spokes will be staying for now till next show season .
(plus I like them adds a track look to the car )

Ye it not a very common shape anymore and that's what a like bout it the fact that you don't see many on the road .

me too mate got everything planned out over the coming months want the main of things i.e coilovers, induction kit, exhaust, full service n new tyres for the front etc done before Xmas so it all systems go.

Well had abit time on me hands yesterday and my mate who helps me with the paintwork on me car was available so decided to freshen up me engine bay
Stock list
. High Temp Metallic Red Paint
. High Temp Silver Paint
. Wire Brushes
. Sandpaper
. Gloss Black Paint

How she looked at the start.



As you can see very old and tired looking after 13 years of use.

Started by stripping the engine down of the ancillaries air intake, oil breathers etc and shooted the block head and rocker cover with a silver base coat



Then leaving the block silver and covering the area to prevent overspray sprayed the rocker cover metallic red.




Other detailing included MAF given a fresh coat of silver and the same for the inlet and throttle body then finally back together it looks like this.






Other details as you can see are gloss black airbox and breather cover will keep you all updated as project moves on

Cheers guys will get the bonnet up at the next monthly meet and at dirty stancing this weekend.

Coilovers are now fitted on the GTi will post photos soon must admit tho well impressed with the result few more little bits to do to her before winter then wheel hunting for next show season

Staying this way till after winter now mate obv will be raising it slightly for winter mode but thats it then wheel hunting in the new year .
But will be getting full stainless exhaust and pipercross fitted before xmas just cat back for now then maybes 4branch and de-cat in the new year aswell a stanced fast car

Looking very nice, i think the hard part to a car is picking the wheels
