| Im looking at getting this BMW 118i at the end of the month. Its a cat d front end damage. Anyone know what ill need to look at before i buy this? Its £1,500 with 100k miles on it and 54 reg. As most of you know im not good when it comes to mechanical side of stuff so does anyone have anything i should be looking into? Also does anyone have a HPI checker app thats jailbroken that i dont have to pay for to check it for me? drop me a PM if so Cheers | |

| I dont see how your gonna fix a cat D car when your "not good when it comes to mechanical side of stuff"? Its a project rather than a new car, plus it'll cost a fortune and you'll have to go through a lot of expensive checks just to get it insured. | |

| my dads Focus was a Cat D with 14k on, worked out at £5k repaired compared with £11k at the time. took him about 6 months to fix, mainly panel damage and the chassis leg was slightly curled over. I say go for it! | |
