Here's some shots of my polo as it stands today, it's quite rare as its an open air model.

Very nice, im heading in pretty much the same direction engine wise and internals etc, is there much difference between the bailey BOV to the forge semi-recirc BOV? Will look shit hot with the polished rocker cover and silicone

Yeah, there is a difference.
You might have issues running an atmospheric BOV with standard managment though. Mine's on DTA so I get away with it Smile

Painted the centre caps for the winter wheels (16' teledials)

took a while! there's a lot of detail on them!

Picked up some Azev E's to use as a second set of winter wheels when it's not at shows.
16x7.5j and 16x9j.

97' Polo Open-Air Project DSC00334_zpsdce310c3

However, being that they are porsche fitment, the previous owner has fitted porsche centre caps... which are OK I suppose, but not to my taste.
Went in search of what should've been on there originally, see below

97' Polo Open-Air Project AZEV3

but decided I didn't like those either! Then there was the optional Azev Diamond caps which are even worse!

97' Polo Open-Air Project Azev

Started to lose the will to live and understood why the previous owner had opted for porsche badges now!

Then I thought, why don't I do my own, seeing as I know a place where I can have them made up in any design by a friend... So I've spent the last 40 minutes in photoshop knocking these up, which i'll have made as proper 3D Centre cap badges tomorrow.

Quite pleased with myself what does everyone think?

Also had an update from the body shop today, she's getting there, she's finally straight and has her final coat of primer on! so it's nearly time for base coat!
