SpringDub Clubstand Final List

Here is the final list for people who will be in the clubstand at SpringDub.

3 ) Robert Coxon - Mk 2 Arosa
4 ) Alex Hard - VW Lupo
5 ) Josh Gilbraith - VW Lupo
6 ) Thomas Coxon - Mk1 Arosa
7 ) Danny Hull - Mk 1 Arosa
8 ) Deano - Fabia VRS
9 ) Daniel Forster - Mk3 Polo coupe
10 ) Callum Scott - VW Lupo
11 ) Callum Redman- Lupo 1.0e

With the fact we have loads of Lupo's and Arosa's on the clubstand there will be a clubstand layout which needs to be stuck to in order to keep the clubstand looking good as we need to break the Lupo and Arosa's up with other cars as much as possible.

what you doing to get rid of the swirls calum?, my arosa has shit loads

have a 12v rotary polisher if thats anygood (aldi's best)

Well I was using my 'LidL' polisher yesterday haha with some menzerna compound and polish, didn't really do much so now will be busting out my DAS DA polisher and my compound pad and see what I can make of it!

But if that's what you got, keep working at it and you will get there, Chris likes maguiers compound and he gets good results from that!

hmm will have to try only got a stupid microfibre cloth end and a wool buffer.. any good?

Use the microfibre for compound and then the other got polish, well that's what I did

ahh decent cos its safe to say i know jack shite ha... so is compound just a corse polish?

nee bother so what would you recommend for compound and just SRP after?

mines getting a full buff next week before like in the paint shop total result

No meet this weekend mate. Im gunna be busy wetvac'ing my interior and polishing the car up to get shot of the few little swirls on one of the wings (Off wiping dirt off with my jacket lol)

Rob, if your gonna go down the DA route, the megs microfibre pads are decent for VW paint and try their compound (D300 i think) or megs 105, then refine with 205 on a softer pad should be enough.

mines getting a full black pad flat and polish buffing next week joys of being able to use a body shop so mine should be at its best hoping i have time for my arch to get done as its really pissing me off

i have loads of stuff to buy so wont be buying a proper machine polisher at least not for ages.. have to make do with a 12v aldi special

he does buffs for qhuite cheap and looks loads better aswell
