Okay so after our FIRST clubstand of the year already has more than our allocated numbers and after speaking to Michael who said i sounded a bit harsh i just wanted to put things straight and explain what is gunna be happening this year and the reasons why.
Clubstand Allocation
So as you know there is always a max number of cars you can have on a clubstand. Usually 10-15 cars maximum. So we always book clubstands to max availability. VW Fest last year was our first and we struggled to fill it. We wont and dont have that problem now.
If we have more people wanting to be on the clubstand than we have spaces we need to think carefully about who we want on the clubstand. It is certainly NOT the case of "ah thats shit coz it doesnt have alloys or stretch". We will basically be trying to vary the variety of cars we have on our display as much as possible and having our most appealing cars on display. The reason we will be doing it this way is because we want to be noticed as much as possible this year. This year will make or break DUBaSCRUB. We are either gunna stay small and not change or take off big style and it ALL depends on our meets and clubstands.
I kind of buggered up SpringDub and made it sound like the first 10 names down were on the clubstand, this is obviously not the case as there is no way we want 6 out of 10 cars to just be lupo's or arosa's. No we havent forgotten our roots but this was explained above.
I really hope this doesnt sound shitty and like we are turning into another forum but we have DaS' best intentions in mind.
Any opinions on this post below.
Cheers,
Sloanes
