lol yeah we need to get it on by the weekend. Also have my Cupra R splitter to sand down and fit.

I have also bought some 20mm hubcentric spacers. Got all 4 spacers for 60 quid including the bolts. I ideally wanted bigger spacers than that jowever for that price i couldnt say no. Should improve the overall look quite a bit until i get some bigger ones.

Things are finally starting to move along nicely!

Left deposit on spacers and the bloke im getting them off also has a fabia. A black VRS that looked unreal. 3 Poke dished wheels, flared arches and leather Recaro interior... made mine look shit as per lol.

Rang Keith about my bumper and its not ready for collection until tomorrow. Might also get it fitted while im there when i collect it. Cant wait coz im hoping it takes the little red piece of shite to the next level.

Right well update on the Bumper.... or not. Basically he sprayed it yesterday and when i went to collect it today he was closed... I rang him later in the day and he said "its done but it needs a good polishing. I cant polish it atm because its flexing when im trying to do it, ill need to wait until its on the car" Now to me that means its orange peeled to fuck (Most paint is until wet sanding) but because he cant be arsed to wetsand he is gunna use a big DA and G3 the shit out of it to get rid of the orange peel. I know it was only £25 quid to paint but tbh if i knew he was gunna rush and bodge it i would have rather went elsewhere and saved up a bit of cash. Dreading seeing it tomorrow. If its shit he aint getting paid coz ill have to sit and wetsand it and polish it all back up...

So there we go. Anyone who has me on FB will get my reaction tomorrow morning when i go to collect it.

I do have fingers, toes and balls crossed like. He never really let me down before, the job is never done when he says it will be but his work is canny. (Obviously not show winning quality but for the price u dont expect it.)

well got my bumper earlier and it was pretty much matt. Got some rubbing compound and give it a quick once over. Polished it and waxed it then decided i want to give it another going over which i will later tonight when the missus goes to bed. so heres a pic or two from my phone but tbf it looks pink and not shiny at all but iy actually isnt bad in the flesh. Just cant get the little grills on the side to stop on lol

yeah but not wet sanded "/ its more shiny in person thab the picture shows. Still needs a load of work tho. gunna be a late night as its going on in the morning lol

Well myself and Chrissy got to work this morning in the snow and got the bumper fitted. Love it personally. Shame the LCR splitter was cut to fit a lupo so was too short
