Skoda Fabia

Wellllllll been a while but I got rid of the bora and gOt one of these:





1.4 100bhp Fabia for a bargain price. 2 owners 91k miles. Coilovers ordered, looking for vrs front end, not sure on wheels yet tho. Needs a good clean so will update soon.

Coilovers next week as well as some 15" audi pepperpots! fingers crossed

dont fit the coilovers on the front with the helpers in otherwise you'll end up with serious reverse rake when you wind both front and rear all the way down

Not much of a update really but the paint was a bit too faded for my liking and the tar all over was doing my tits in so i whopped out the machine polisher. Here are the results. (Pardon the wheel trims that are different on each side lol)








Fitted some aero wipers which were on the Lurosa and the Bora and now the Fabia.

Also waiting on some deliveries of:
Coilovers
LED Fog light bulbs
Beesting aerial
LED Registration bulbs
Audi Pepperpots
Some 195/45/15 tyres for the pepperpots.

If it's not too late then cancel the coilovers, I have a set of FK Fabia/9N coilovers to sell, fittings free this weekend

Well, coilovers still haven't arrived, last Wednesday he said they were dispatched so I rang him and apparently they haven't got any in stock so said another 7 days delivery to which I replied "piss off, I want a refund" so hopefully he sends the refund and I can order some more! 

Anyway I got bored while the missus and baby were asleep this afternoon and that can only mean one thing... CLEANING! Since everything else was already clean it was the engine bay's turn!

Okay... So got the backs fitted and I love how low the back sits but not happy with the front. Can't really go any lower at front because if I take helpers out its 6mm off the floor at front do think I'm going to have to sacrifice how much I love the rear and put adjusters in to stop the rear being lower than the back which is actually only slightly lower but because the wheel arches are different shapes it looks loads lower "/ think I'll end up selling the wheels and getting some 17" ones (I know people going to say 'told u so' lol)

Oh and FK coilovers are soooo comfortable! And also if I do keep the wheels I desperately need spacers!

stick with the pepper pots man! they're sick! nice start on cleaning it up too. take the helpers out? haha orr try different springs on the front? looks soo nice on the photochop if you could make it work! don't go with the vrs front end, just colour code it or smooth it? just my opinion but I think the less aggressive front suits the moredoor better (could look quite moody with the right colour choice on your wheels) sweet ride though always wanted to see one of these nice and phat

Thanks man. Yeah tbh the springs are FK and as far as I'm aware they pretty short springs anyway. Helpers coming out on Saturday I think. The more I have it and look at it the more I like how it looks. Once the helpers are out I think it's time to start looking at spacers to nail the stance but apart from that I think I'm going to keep the black trim because I saw one all colour coded and it looked too big and plain with nothing to break up the big panels.

Anyway, decided to remove the Fabia badge from the back earlier and after about a hour and a full can of sticky stuff remover I got it off. Just needs another machine polish as the paint is a tad brighter where the badges were compared to the rest so you can see a very faint shadow.
