Well the lad who is buying the bora next week asked to take her out on a test drive so i took it to his and he had a go, after 10 minutes of him driving like a absolute bell end he pulled back into his street, wellied it down the road and slammed the brakes on... POP and then loads of smoke bellowing from the driver front wheel.... this happened.

Showing its age a tad the brake line had burst and tbh im glad it did when it did rather than when i had the missus and the baby in the car. Anyway i had to drive 5 miles home through the city centre using only a handbrake that doesnt work and the gears to slow myself down. I managed to get home eventually and whipped the wheel off to have a look, i popped in the house and when i came back out 2 mins later:

Sooooo, tomorrow i have the fun job of replacing the flexi and sorting it back out.

On a brighter note he is taking the car on Tuesday or Wednesday so hopefully the Skoda Fabia should be mine next week! LOVE NEW PROJECTS!
