Dans Black Lupo

Helloo!

Thought I would make an appearance on DaS again. So heres the story:

Bought a Black Lupo Early this year from a friend for the nice sum of £900, modifications included.

Here it is before I bought it (at Edition 38)



It arrived at its new home!



A long time ago we did a nice day-of-detail!







Got rid of those horrid Arosa rear lights the second i had the chance, and got some nice fresh red ones! Courtesy of Mr.Koop.

A friend of mine had a carbon wrapped bonnet, and was looking to swap for a standard one with grille and badge. so....

Thats about as up-to-date as I can be. More modifications to come after christmas!

Just a Mini Update


Lupo made a new friend! A mate of mine has just bought himself a nice Polo 6N2, which one day will be slammed on its arse like the rest of the impractical cars in this daft scene

There aren't tonnes of pictures but i thought it would make a cool little update and would be a nice way to introduce the fresh little polo, i imagine you will see more of it in the future

Right, most recently I decided that I some leather/suede interior wouldn't hurt!

and it just so happened that Olly, a friend and Dub Youth Klub member was selling a set of Mk4 Bora seats for a bargain price of just £100!







Then, a post decided to jump into me, so this happened



Completely gutted. But getting annoyed about it wont solve anything. So today I made a trip to a family friend that works wonders with car bodywork, the guy knew exactly what had happened before I even told him

The lupo is now booked in to have several corrections made, and should be sorted by christmas.

More updates to come once the paintwork is to a decent standard.

err.. well, you see, i was putting my car on the drive at a stupid angle and not thinking. those two things together did not end well

Right, thought i'd throw in a mini update:

The cars gone for its respray today, should have it back in a week or so, so ill get some new pictures together of the fresh paint.

Its having the damaged quarter panel repaired, rear bumper resprayed, sill corrected and passenger door repaired. A lot of the scuffs and marks were on when I bought the car, but it works out cheaper to get more panels done in one go, than keep going back.

Hopefully it will be as good as new, and make a nice end to 2012.

Merry Christmas Eve Dubbers!

So; its been a week since I dropped the lupo off at the bodyshop to get the damage repaired as well as some other little imperfections taken out.

This morning I got a phonecall saying that the job was complete! (yay)

I decided to take the lupo down to the usual spot at three sisters industrial estate (despite the rain) to capture a few pictures as I promised.

I am extremely pleased with the results of this. He even buffed over some lightly effected areas of the bootlid with some detailing stuff, even though I didnt ask him to! Top Bloke. He has worked extra hard in order to get my car sorted before christmas, and the panels look as if they were never affected.

Nice finish to 2012

Got some good plans this year and will hopefully be attending Ultimate Dubs with some nice new bits.

I have a quick question for the Dubascrub lot before my car goes back for even more cheeky paintwork. Carbon or No Carbon?

Im wondering whether to remove the wrap and have it sprayed black again. Thoughts?
