Warm tyres!

so got my wheels on tonight and after the 15min drive home my front left tire was warm?? i cant think why?

How warm? what speed were you doing/how hard were you driving?

not fast as it was raining hard so was going threw puddles and stuff, like average 40/45mph??

Is the tire on the right way round?

haven't looked at that!!! could that make something wrong like that?

so turns out the to front wheels are on the wrong sides! derrrrrrrrrr , but still dont get why only one wheel was warm? and its lost pressure??????

dont worry about the tyres getting warm, its just the friction off the road causing the heat............would help if the tyres are the right way tho

I had a quick look for you and if tire is on the wrong way round can cause lack of grip but that's all I could find, try with right way and see if it gets hot again

ok cheers lads, what about the loss of pressure?? i guess that could be the garages fault when they fitted them?

If the alloys are new plus tires I couldn't see why you are loseing presure unless you have a dodge valve, wiggle your valve or tire isn't sealed right

Get a tire shop to check see if its sealed properly, i had a slow leak for ages, got it sorted in 5 mins for a fiver

spray some water around the valve and watch for bubbles. sounds like the valve isnt sealed properly. more than likely just be that mate. dont stress just yet

yeh cheers, good help! pumped the tire up and took it for a drive, the tyre wasn't warm after this time so i think it was because the pressure was that low! will keep an eye on it for now!

if it gets hot get one of your mates to run alongside your car on way and keep blowing on the tyre top tip that!
