| Ooh very nice mate! Love the roof rack thing. That's what I'm after on my Fabia. That night time shot with the neon thing looks sweet! Would love stuff like that of mine! Any other plans then? | |

| where do i begin.. as you can see up at the top i started in a VW polo 6n2 that was an amazing car. however it came to a sticky end when I stupidly decided to go on a drive in that huge snow fall we had a couple of years back and as it was sliding down a bank I realised that there was a slight cliff lined with trees and a river at the bottom at the end of the bank, so I turned into the banked grass verge beside me and well the pic says the rest lol Anyway i got an identical one to see me through and what a problem child it was but after a year of searching i found a really clean MK3 polo coupe genesis Here are the pics of when I got it home And under the bonnet so first thing was new grill old one off new FK automotive one on (cost £5.76 new! ) next was removing the bump strips with the help of a hair drier and one of these a toffee wheel/fudge wheel mid way then mostly done this is how it looked after erm then I started inside with a original vw gear knob and some audio headunit and dash speakers so after a while it needed cleaning and I can go slightly OCD at times so... hoovering I decided to CLEAN yes CLEAN under the carpet.... cus Im mental lol and found that i had no sound deadening lol So after I stopped being a loon I started on engine bay.. tools engine mount before after (still needs more cleaning tho) catch tank no before so.. (needs painting too) then at the Biggar show in Scotland I picked up these beauts GT trims so they got fitted started some more under the hood Air filter pan now it was my plan to polish it and it was going well however I then fitted it so be able to drive and then forgot about it lol and it rusted again so it has been painted in wrinkle finish paint to look standard again.. Got some retro yellow headlight bulbs new fuel tank (painted myself) lowering springs stil need fitting and then joy of joys the head gasket went but its fixed now and all is fine lol sorry if that was a mish lol dont think I have left any bits out sooo here are some polished shots to look at Cheers with younger bro and the latest again cheers peeps | |
