Wanting people's opinions & ideas.

So as we are hoping that VW Fest will bring us increased traffic and members I'm wanting to get the forum 100% complete and ready for more sign ups. Some of the bits that are bothering me at the moment are listed below and if possible can you lot give me some suggestions on how you think it could/should be done.

Home page content:
We need to have content on the home page of interest however we don't want it too cluttered so what type of things do you guys think should be popped on there? Currently its being used for little up dates for day to day stuff that's going on, what else could this be used for etc?

Forum Skin/Theme:
I'm happy with it but what do you guys think?

Forum Categories:
This is a hard one as there is a lot of different sections etc which I tried to narrow down recently but still think it needs sorting, which categories should we keep/loose and which should we have that's not already there?

Staff Members:
I was thinking about looking to get a news type staff member. Someone that can write articles about car related stuff in a section that could start a bit debates and get se decent conversations going? What you think and any of you any good at that type of thing?

Anything else?
So let us know what you think about the above and anything else you can think of? All ideas welcome and please even if you think everything is perfect still let us know as we want everyone's opinipn.
