DUBaSCRUB 2013 Changes

Okay so i thought id make a post about our plans for 2013 and the changes etc that the website and club will be going through.

Website
Our website is going to be changed a fair amount (Hopefully over the next 24 hours). This will include more pages and content rather than "just a forum". This will involve a "Car Showcase" on the homepage which will have a few pics and a link to random build threads from the forum. The Showcase will hopefully be changed to another build weekly. This should ensure not only the main build threads are getting viewed by guests and members. Ill be working on creating some pages with about us, meets and more to give the website more content for visitors to read through.

Project Stance
As most of you will have read the Project Stance is made to compliment and run alongside our main website. Ill not explain again what its there for and what its about but it will hopefully bring more members and visitors to the blog, this website and Facebook. This will be interacting with the website in the future and club members that are featured will have a few links on the actual feature which will bring people to visit this website and hopefully encourage people to register and become a forum member.

Clubstand Shortlist
This is something i mentioned earlier to Michael & Jak but basically it will be a shortlist of the cars we HOPE and really want to feature on any DaS clubstands at shows around the country in 2013. There will be more information posted about this once we finalise the last few details on how it will work.

Merchandise
We have struck a deal (thanks a million to Mark to this) to get our vinyl made very cheap which means we can sell them cheap. This again should bring us popularity and more viewers purely from the decals and hopefully there will be high demand as they will be priced rather low. We will also be looking for deals on t-shirt and clothing printing to again hopefully make them more affordable to our members etc.

Sponsorship
Yet again Mr Perman MAY have found us a nice sponsorship with Auto Finesse. This hasnt been finalised in any way yet but fingers crossed as it would be awesome.

Video's
Lets face it, videos are awesome. Establishment 365's videos are absolutely quality and tbf when i realised they were at VW Fest i felt like i was looking at celebrities cars! So in 2013 we will be shooting a fair amount of videos and taking just as many pictures as we did in 2012. Yet again this SHOULD help get us noticed as personally i prefer looking at videos than pictures and again with Est365's videos i instantly visited their blog once i had watched the videos purely to see if there were any more i could watch lol.

Im sure ill think of more things to add and if i do ill reply to this thread rather than editing it as then people will know their has been an update.
