| I'm new to the forum and probably wont post much until I have done a little more research on car detailing but thought I would say hi since i just registered =). I have never done any detailing before but want to learn the basics to get a nice shiny car =).

| Thank you for the warm welcome =). In answer to your question I drive a Mercades a class in a metallic gold sort of colour. Just spent £60 on chemicals and equipment so will hopefully make my first attempt this weekend or the next =).
I will be using Prima amigo gloss sealed with dodo juice red mist (not exactly a sealant but close enough). What is the best way to remove it all if I am not happy with the result? Thank you.

I have no doubt they look great on normal car paint but mine is mettalic gold. If it turns a shade I don't like or loses its mettalic look I will want to remove it. | |
