Spent a couple of months deciding between a TT and LCR, finally settled on TT, then spent the same again looking for a decent one.

Finally found one in the colour I was after, at a reasonable price and without mods.

Here she is as collected.

Aviator TT IMG_1234_zpsc458654a

Its booked in for full service and haldex oil/filter change, then mods will begin.

Needs a good detail, which if the weather holds over the bank holiday it'll get, then subtle lows on coilovers, even though I have a airride kit sat in the garage to fit! Laughing, then an up in power!

Also on the look out for a set of 18" RS4 if anyone knows of any.

Let me know what you think.

cheers, Chris.

Cheers guys. Can't wait to start the mods on it. Should have bought one years ago!

No plans to put this on air. All my airride stuff is for sale. Gonna run the TT on coilovers and not go daft low.

cheers, Chris.

Well not many updates....

Had full service inc Haldex, new wheel bearing and 4 tank fulls of super....

Also fitted a PiperX filter and swapped a couple of the damaged dash vents with an eBay purchase.

Also fitted a V6 rear valance and plan for weekend to de-badge.

Got some AP coilovers coming, then decide on some wheels, as I'm going to keep the Ronals for winters.

cheers, Chris.

Another small update.

These arrived today...... Not bad for £150! Gonna give them a clean up and get them stuck on.

Aviator TT Null_zpsc918f3c5

Also managed to source some LHD rear lights, so gonna have a play to see if I prefer all red rears or twin reverse lights.

Just need my airride bits to sell and its wheels next.

cheers, Chris.

Couple more updates.

Decided after a month that listening to the same 6 CD's got a little repetative, so swapped the original HU out for my trusty Alpine.

Aviator TT Null_zps1364dbb8

Then being new to TT ownership signed up here for some guidance...

Aviator TT Null_zpsb7bc2ad7

Once on there, it led me to searching the classifieds and eBay and eventually came away with a set of LHD lights.

Stuck the passenger one on to achieve all red..

Aviator TT Null_zps64d3bf1d

Gonna swap them for the twin reverse light to see what that looks like.

Also managed to pick up a set of aero wipers for a good price.

Aviator TT Null_zps5bbcb05c

Whilst searching eBay managed to find a facelift grille so went from this..

Aviator TT IMG_1483_zpsed70fab5

to this...

Aviator TT IMG_1484_zpsf83c9754

Then decided it needed new wheels so picked these up from a local ad on Gumtree..

Aviator TT Null_zpsb54a8006

Plan was to refurb and fit, but that plan lasted all of 1 week and at the weekend I picked up these...

Aviator TT Null_zps444e88d1

Thats it for now, next updates will be once the coilovers and wheels are fitted, then I'm going to be looking to gain a few more bhp from it.

cheers, Chris.
