Bagged A3 S-Line

hi guys, havent been on here much since i signed up due to simply being busy so to make up for it im finaly putting a bit of a build thread up

so here was the car when i first bought it, totaly standard albeit with plenty of optional extras including the genuine bbs split rims


soon came the first little bit of modding, couple of tins of spray paint to freshen up the front end...


next up i did a spot of de-badgeing and got rid of that hideous rear wiper! car is also on AP coilovers here but unfortunately i dont have any pics of them

at this point i needed to do something with the wheels as they were suffering badly with paint corrosion, so i thought sod it, and i got some 3sdm 0.01's



finaly before winter set in i invested in some my11 rear lights which in my opinion really do make all the difference...


as you can see the car was still sat very high even with the coilovers wound all the way down, so again i dug deep and decided it was in need of bags, very simple boot install for the time being just to get me on the road

realising winter was never going to go away properly i put the 3sdms back on regardless, and the results speak for themselves, first time i've loved the appearance of the car and at this point i hadnt dared to air out on the back in case i damaged the wheels or arches


finaly grew a pair and aired out the rear shortly afterwards and im incredibly glad i did, still needs a chassis notch to lower the front more...



unfortunately things took a turn downhill after this over the past month, couple of small issues with the air ride and then a major problem caused by my dosey self... take note kids, pay full attention when you're driving!


so this is how the car stands at present, got loads more photos and loads of small changes like the plates done but ive already uploaded enough! going in to unitsixteen mid may to get the front end sorted as well as a full respray to sort out the body defects, more lows and a few surprise bits will be getting sorted at the same time...

quick update guys

car was dropped off at UnitSixteen on the weekend, over the next 3 weeks its having plenty of work! so its gona come back looking good as new and with some improvements

not giving away too much just yet, you'll just have to wait and see haha



slightly kinked bumper bar... LOL!



went for the twin grill look...



£380 worth of bumper and bumper bar right there, S-line parts are more valuable than bloody gold bars!





i'll keep you up to date guys, looking like i'll be getting it back early june...

work is well underway over at UnitSixteen and safe to say the lads are working wonders!
front end is now sat lower and tucking wheel, arches now completely clear the wheels on the back, and the full car has been sprayed up and is looking absolutely immaculate

Im sure thats when it is like! Just found out they've ran out of black VIP passes, left it too late! So i'll be leaving it for this year looks like the first proper unveiling of the new mods will be the monthly meet! Then i need to find a show to go to ASAP to show it off haha
