| So today i took benji out for the first time in a couple days, and noticed that he wasn't running as smooth as before. Then after about 2 minutes of driving i experienced a loss of power and a jerky ride, which was then followed by the check engine light flashing at me. After limping back home i came to the conclusion it was a misfire, so over the weekend ill hopefully get round to sorting out the problem.
Thanks, Tyler

| Ohh yeah, ill have a look out for it.
What did you find was the best way to fix it, because ive been looking into new spark plugs, but ive read a new coil pack and ignition leads would help to

| also after a few Google searches of my problem (and a lot of reading), I decided that a good place to start was to replace all 3 items that were likely to be the source of the problem.. coil pack, ignition leads, and spark plugs.
So far I've managed to swap the ignition leads and coil pack.. i'm currently waiting for my neighbour to come home so i can borrow his spark plug socket. Hopefully this should work, so updates soon fingers crossed

Yeah that's been replaced so hopefully mine should be a lot better too.. Ooo damn, that doesn't sound to nice at all. So now is all well and good again with benji.. coil pack, ignition leads, and spark plugs have been replaced and he's running pretty sweet. Nice and simple job aswell tbf

| Looking good matey, you solved the misfire yet? I had what seemed to be endless misfiring with Oscar. Had to change the coil pack three times I thing plugs and then finally found a nick in two of the ht leads. It was really visible with the bonet up but just as I was shutting it to go for a test drive I saw a spark jump between the two leads D: | |

Cheers bud, And yeah i got it all sorted.. Started with replacing the coil pack, then when replacing the ignition leads as i gave them i little pull the wires just ripped on two of them. This is what i believe caused my misfire problem. Tbf i still changed the spark plugs as well just to make sure, took it for a test drive and found it a bit more perky which was good. and haven't had any issues since. Woah that spark jump doesn't sound to nice.. Did you manage to get him sorted mate?
